Cell growth only occurs when people are coming to Christ as Savior and moving on to maturity in Him. The health of His people is a key element. God’s heart concerning good shepherding of His flock can be seen many places in scripture. Allow me to reference three; Zechariah 11:16-17 (considered inversely), John 10 and Isaiah 40:11.
As a shepherd of God’s flock (1 Peter 5:2-4) you will not reproduce cells (flocks) unless there are healthy sheep. Healthy sheep reproduce after their own kind, according to God’s design from the beginning (Genesis 2).
Quality can be attained after a quantity of people are added to the cells. Existing cell groups must see their responsibility to reach into their circles of influence and bring their friends and family to the weekly meetings, celebrations, and ultimately to Christ. If no quantity is gained, there can be no quality. In fact, the quality of what exists now will begin to deteriorate. We are designed by God to reproduce (disciple) and if we are not doing that, we will soon be discouraged due to our unfruitfulness.
Friends, I enjoy the short, to-the-point, mission statement from Larry Stockstill, “Win Souls, Make disciples.” Then we can keep them healthy!

Rebaños sanos, buenos pastores

El crecimiento celular se produce sólo cuando las personas están viniendo a Cristo como su Salvador y pasan a la madurez en él. La salud de su pueblo es un elemento clave. El corazón de Dios respecto a un buen pastoreo de su rebaño se puede ver en muchos lugares en las Escrituras. Permtanme hacer referencia a tres; Zacaras 11:16-17 (considerada la inversa), Juan 10 e Isaas 40:11.
As como el pastor del rebaño de Dios (1 Pedro 5:2-4) tu no reproducirás células (manadas) a menos que haya ovejas sanas. Las ovejas sanas se reproducen según su especie, de acuerdo con el designio de Dios desde el principio (Génesis 2).
La calidad puede ser alcanzada después de que una cantidad de personas se añaden a las células. Los grupos existentes de células que ven con responsabilidad el llegar a sus crculos de influencia y traer a sus familiares y amigos a las reuniones semanales, celebraciones, y en última instancia a Cristo.
