One of the devastating impacts of sin in life is the disintegration of the family as it once was. For many people today, ‘family’ is a meaningless name that does little to ‘add’ to their lives. For these people, life is better alone – away from so-called ‘family’. Sin has exchanged the desire for family in the human heart and psyche for a desire to be self-driven.
Authentic family is a God-created order – it’s something that is most attractive and satisfying. Family is about sharing our lives together in particular ways for the building of community – all sharing in oneness, for the benefit of the whole. Just merely speaking the word ‘family’ does not produce family-living. Jesus prayed to the Father for His disciples (that includes you and me) … “I have given them the glory you gave me, so that they may be one, as we are – I in them and you in me, all being perfected into one …” (John 17:22, 23 NLT).
Although the meaning and experience of family was lost through sin, the reality of authentic family-living was regained through the grace of the Lord, Jesus Christ. The church as family is one of the central images of the Bible (1 Timothy 3:15), and the idea of the church as the household of God came out of the actual house churches.
Purposeful cell/small groups are about the work of reforming the family, through the power of the Holy Spirit, in the body of Christ.

Uno de los impactos devastadores del pecado en la vida es la desintegración de la familia como lo era antes. Para muchas personas hoy en da, la “familia” es un nombre sin sentido que hace poco para ‘añadir’ a sus vidas. Para estas personas, la vida es mejor solo – lejos de la llamada “familia”. El pecado ha cambiado el deseo de la familia en el corazón del hombre y la busca de los deseos de ser auto-conducido.
La familia auténtica es creada por Dios en orden – es algo que es más atractivo y satisfactorio. La Familia trata de compartir nuestras vidas juntos de manera particular para la construcción de la comunidad – todo para compartir en unidad, para el beneficio del conjunto. Simplemente hablando de la “familia” la palabra no produce vida familiar. Jesús oró al Padre por sus discpulos (que incluye a usted y a m) … “Yo les he dado la gloria que me diste, para que sean uno, como nosotros – Yo en ellos y tú en m, todo lo que se perfeccionó en uno … “(Juan 17:22, 23 NVI).
Aunque el significado y la experiencia de la familia se perdieron por el pecado, la realidad de la auténtica vida familiar, fue recuperada por la gracia del Señor Jesucristo. La iglesia como familia es una de las imágenes centrales de la Biblia (1 Timoteo 3:15), y la idea de la iglesia como la casa de Dios salió de las reales iglesias en las casas.
Con propósito de células / grupos pequeños sobre el trabajo de la reforma familiar, a través del poder del Espritu Santo, en el cuerpo de Cristo.
