Optimist Versus Realist

The excitement and momentary victory of launching a new cell leader is elating, if you are an optimist. The optimist thinks about the fact that the training track is complete, the members of the cell are happy, the supervisor is pleased, the church is growing and the sun is shining everywhere.

However, a realist is already calculating the number of barriers that stand in the way of long-term success for this new leader. The optimist focuses on the problems in the cell, the power of sin to thwart the new leader and the spiritual warfare will increase against the leader.

The optimist will overlook the hard things and transfer attention to something more exciting, while the realist is preparing for the coming pressures. Sustaining a leader is hard work. Assisting the leader in gaining new strength is vital. Here are some key things you can do. Make sure the new leader is:

• Daily at the feet of Jesus
• Reading the greatest instruction manual ever compiled (Bible)
• Taking the next step in the training track
• Shepherding their portion of the flock, in love
• Learning new skills for helping people through the tough times of life
• Spending time with other leaders in the training times and leader’s meetings provided by the church

Is it possible for you to be an optimistic realist? Yes. Remain hopeful in the Jesus that indwells this leader, while laying a solid, executable plan for them to regularly obtain new tools for leading others in the body of Christ.

Lean into truths like:

• “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4)
• “I can do all things through Christ, Who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13)
• But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:5-8).

Optimismo vs Realidad

La emoción y la victoria momentánea del lanzamiento de un nuevo lder celular es emocionante, si usted es un optimista. El optimista piensa en el hecho de que la pista de entrenamiento se ha completado, los miembros de la célula están contentos, el supervisor esta contento, la iglesia está creciendo y el sol brilla en todas partes.

Sin embargo, el realista ya está calculando el número de barreras que se interponen en el camino del éxito a largo plazo para este nuevo lder. El optimista se centra en los problemas de la célula, el poder del pecado para frustrar el nuevo lder y la guerra espiritual se incrementará en contra del lder.

El optimista pasará por alto las cosas duras y transfiere la atención a algo más emocionante, mientras que el realista se prepara para las presiones que vienen. Mantener al lder es un trabajo duro. Ayuda al lder a ganar nueva fuerza vital. Aqu hay algunas cosas importantes que usted puede hacer. Asegúrese de que el nuevo lder esta:

• Todos los das a los pies de Jesús.
• Leyendo el manual de instrucciones más grande jamás compilado (La Biblia)
• Tomando el siguiente paso en la pista de entrenamiento
• Pastoreando su porción del rebaño, en amor
• Aprendiendo nuevas habilidades para ayudar a la gente en los momentos difciles de su vida
• Pasando tiempo con otros lderes en los tiempos de formación y reuniones de lderes proporcionados por la iglesia

¿Es posible que usted sea un optimista realista? S. Mantenemos la esperanza en el Jesús que mora en este lder, al tiempo que sienta un plan sólido, ejecutable para ellos obtener regularmente nuevas herramientas para guiar a otros en el cuerpo de Cristo.

Apóyate en verdades como:

• “Mayor es el que está en vosotros, que el que está en el mundo” (1 Juan 4:4)
• “Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece” (Filipenses 4:13)
• Pero también por esa misma razon, poniendo todo empeño, añadid a vuestra fe virtud, a la virtud conocimiento, al conocimiento dominio propio, a la perseverancia autocontrol, al autocontrol piedad, a la piedad afecto fraternal y al amor bondad. Porque si estas cosas están en vosotros y abundan, no os va a estar ociosos ni sin fruto en cuanto al conocimiento de nuestro Señor Jesucristo (2 Pedro 1:5-8).

¡Mantenla esperanza, y ponte a trabajar!
