As cells multiply, they create a network that slowly but surely penetrates neighborhoods and cities. The strength of these cell networks depend on the coordinated relationships between leaders and supervisors.
In an earlier blog, I talked about the delicate balance between cell evangelism and pastoral care. As the cell network extends, the evangelism and pastoral care continues to grow as well. As time passes, there is a growing presence of the church all over the city.
Because of the supervisory care structure, it’s difficult for a member or leader to practice unacceptable Christian behaviors without others knowing about it. The extensive cell structure allows for others to know what’s going on in the lives of the members and leaders. Cells become almost omnipresent. Upon detection of inconsistent conduct, the leader and supervisor begin the mutual action of exhortation, encouragement and prayer.
We won’t be perfect until we reach heaven, and the reality is that we will fall and manifest sins and difficulties as believers. We have found, however, that the cell model provides both the detection network and the spiritual first aid to deal with sin. And of course, the celebration wing also provides a powerful ally in helping leaders and members grow in holiness.

El modelo celular corrigiendo el pecado.
En la medida que las células se multiplican van creando una red que penetra poco a poco los barrios y las ciudades. La red se extiende y se conecta entre s por medio del trabajo coordinado de lderes y supervisores.
Anteriormente he dicho que la función de las células no es solamente la evangelización sino también el cuidado mutuo. En la medida que la red celular se extiende también crece la red de evangelización y cuidado. En la medida que el tiempo pasa cada vez hay mayor presencia de la iglesia en los distintos sectores de la ciudad.
As las cosas, es muy difcil para un miembro o lder incurrir en conductas impropias de un cristiano sin que sea percibido. Casi no habrá rincón de la ciudad en donde no sea reconocido. Las células se vuelven casi omnipresentes. Al detectarse una conducta incongruente lo que procede es la acción mutua de exhortación, ánimo y oración. Es decir que el mismo modelo de trabajo celular desarrolla las condiciones para el cuidado de sus miembros.
Como cristianos todava no glorificados habrá siempre manifestaciones de pecado y dificultades entre los creyentes. Pero el modelo celular se convierte en la red de detección y de primeros auxilios espirituales. Un aliado poderoso de la otra ala de la iglesia que es la celebración.
