Healthy Goal Setting

I really liked what Mario Vega said at our JCG event in 2011. He said, “Multiplication is a visible sign of discipleship and spiritual health.”

Some churches have a growing, functioning cell system and are producing healthy, multiplying cells, like the Elim Church (11,000 cell groups). Like a beautiful orchard, much fruit is naturally growing on the trees at Elim. Other churches, on the other hand, are not multiplying cells because the ground still needs to be plowed. I have coached pastors who couldn’t go forward because they themselves had not yet grasped key cell values. My job as coach was to help them understand the biblial basis for cell ministry, the trainting track, the power of prayer, etc. God first had to transform these pastors before they could produce leaders through cell ministry.

Other pastors are ready to go. I’ve been coaching one pastor who caught the cell vision , read widely on cell ministry, asked for coaching, and then started a healthy pilot group. He modeled what he wanted others to follow, prepared the members through training, and now has four new cells. His goal is twelve cells by the end of the year, and I fully believe he’ll do it.

Another pastor I’m coaching saw their cells drop way down because a pastor left to start another church nearby. His goal in 2012 is to maintain the ten current cells healthy, while multiplying two more. His actual goal is twelve cells with twelve people by 2012.

Where are you on the cell journey? Do you first need to plow the ground in 2012 and start your mutliplication goals in 2013? Are you ready to run this year because people are prepared through the cell training or are being prepared? Know the state of your flocks, where you are on the journey, and set your goals accordingly.

Fijando Metas Saludables

Me gustó mucho lo que Mario Vega dijo que en nuestro evento en JCG en el 2011. Él dijo: “La multiplicación es un signo visible del discipulado y de la salud espiritual.”

Algunas iglesias están creciendo en un sistema de funcionamiento celular y están produciendo células sanas, células multiplicadoras, como la Iglesia Elim (11,000 grupos celulares). Como en un hermoso huerto, hay mucho fruto, que naturalmente crece en los árboles en Elim. Otras iglesias, por otro lado, no se multiplican debido a que el suelo todava tiene que ser arado. He entrenado pastores que no pueden seguir adelante porque ellos mismos no haban comprendido los valores fundamentales de las células. Mi trabajo como entrenador fue para ayudarles a entender la base bblica para el ministerio celular, la pista de entrenamiento, el poder de la oración, etc. Dios primero tuvo que transformar estos pastores antes de que pudieran producir lderes a través del ministerio celular.

Otros pastores están dispuestos a ir. He estado entrenando un pastor que captó la visión celular, ampliamente ledo en el ministerio celular, me pidió que le diera entrenamiento, y luego comenzó un grupo piloto saludable. El modelo lo que él quera que otros siguieran, preparó a los miembros mediante la capacitación, y ahora cuenta con cuatro nuevas células. Su objetivo es doce células para el final del año, y yo creo que lo hará.

Otro pastor al cual soy entrenador vio sus células de caer debido a un pastor que se fue para iniciar otra iglesia muy cerca. Su meta en 2012 es mantener los actuales diez células sanas, y multiplicar dos más. Su objetivo real es de doce células con doce personas en 2012.

¿Dónde estás en el viaje celular? ¿Tiene usted primero que arar la tierra en el 2012 para comenzar sus metas multiplicación en el 2013? ¿Estás listo para funcionar este año porque la gente está preparada a través de la formación de células o se están preparando? Conozca el estado de sus ovejas, ore sin cesar, y siga adelante. Dios está de su lado.
