Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things ( I Chronicles 29:11-13).
God is sovereign. He is in control. He is for you and the body of Christ. He was in control pre-CoVid, during this pandemic, and post-CoVid. Do not lose heart.
Briefly, let me unpack God’s sovereignty.
First, he is sovereign over nature (Psalm 148:8, Isaiah 45:12). He is creator and sustainer.
Next, he is sovereign over history (Isaiah 14:26-27, Isiah. 46:10-11). He is in control as we move to a climax that will be highlighted by Christ’s return.
Finally, he is sovereign over our lives. Here are some examples from the scriptures: When you were born and where (Acts 17:26); How long you will live (Job 14:5); What natural talents you have (Ex. 31:1-3).
My friend, God is not aloof during these crazy, and sometimes, confusing times. He is present. Focus on His sovereignty, and He will grant you hope.

Deus é soberano. Ele está no controle. Ele é por você e pelo o corpo de Cristo. Ele estava no controle pré-CoVid, durante esta pandemia, e pós-CoVid. Não desanime.
